Company ID (IČO): 57891818

Enquiries and the contact form
We process the name or company name, phone number or email address, message and attachments you voluntarily send us. We use this information to reply, clarify your requirements, arrange a site visit and prepare a quotation. We also keep basic enquiry and quotation records to maintain continuity in our business communications.
If you request a quotation for yourself, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For general questions or communications with a company representative, the basis is our legitimate interest in handling business communications under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Our enquiry and quotation records are based on our legitimate interest in keeping track of business negotiations under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We record only the necessary contact details, requirements, quotation and negotiation status. These records do not in themselves authorise us to send you advertising emails. You may object to this record keeping.
We need your name, contact details and a description of your requirements to handle your form submission. Without contact details, we cannot reply. Attachments are optional. The form is for non-binding enquiries; submitting it does not place an order or create a contract. We do not use enquiry data for newsletters or advertising mailings.
Technical data and security
When you connect, the server processes your IP address and the technical request data necessary to deliver the page. When you submit the form, your IP address is also used to limit repeated requests. The purpose is to protect the website against spam and misuse; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We do not use automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects, or profile visitors. Our cookies page explains the technologies we use.
Who can access the data
Authorised personnel at SAF Mont can access the data, as can our web hosting, technical administration and email service providers to the extent necessary. Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) delivers contact form messages to our company mailbox at Google. Attachments are sent by email; the website does not store them in a separate database.
Email services may also process data outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States. Resend states that its Data Processing Addendum includes the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for such transfers. Google describes its international transfer arrangements in its data protection information. You can request information about the applicable safeguards and a copy of them using our contact email.
Data may also be disclosed to the relevant public authorities where required by law.
How long we retain data
We retain enquiries and quotations while handling the request and related business negotiations. Once these have ended, we retain only data needed for specific follow-up communications agreed with the enquirer, carrying out the work, meeting a legal obligation, or establishing, exercising or defending a specific legal claim. We delete or anonymise data and attachments that are no longer needed for any of these purposes. Simply listing someone as a potential customer does not justify indefinite retention.
If a project proceeds, we retain the relevant data for the duration of the contractual relationship and then for the periods required by accounting, tax and other applicable laws or the relevant limitation period. Retention depends on the type of document, its purpose and any ongoing dispute.
The IP address record used to limit repeated form submissions is held in application memory for no more than one minute. Any operational server logs are retained only as long as necessary to maintain operation and resolve a specific technical or security incident; the duration depends on diagnostic needs and protection against misuse.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing were based on consent, you could withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Send your request to safmontsro@gmail.com. We normally reply within one month. For complex or numerous requests, the GDPR allows an extension of up to two further months, and we will inform you of the extension.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint or request the initiation of proceedings with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.
